PHILADELPHIA, PA – The La Salle men's basketball team (5-12, 1-3 A-10) fell 84-72 to Saint Louis (15-1, 3-0 A-10) on Saturday afternoon at John E. Glaser Arena.
Graduate student forward Josiah Harris led the Explorers with a game-high 19 points and a game-high eight rebounds, marking his second-highest scoring output of the season.
Jerome Brewer Jr. added 15 points in a team-high 35 minutes, while
Jaden Johnson delivered his best all-around game as an Explorer with 10 points, a season-high six assists and three steals.
Saint Louis built a commanding 44-24 halftime lead behind hot shooting and strong ball movement.
The Billikens capitalized on their offensive efficiency, shooting 56.9 percent from the field and 43.5 percent from 3-point range, while La Salle was limited to 40 percent overall and just 13.3% rom deep.
La Salle travels to Richmond on Wednesday, Jan. 14. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
