PHILADELPHIA, PA – Head coach Jason Grubb announced the 2026 schedule for La Salle women's water polo team today, featuring 20 regular-season games from Feb. 7 through March 29.
La Salle will kick off the season with a home exhibition contest at Kirk Pool on Saturday, Jan. 17 against Villanova at 2 p.m.
The regular season will start on Feb. 7 against fellow MAAC opponent Iona in a non-league matchup at the Wildcat Invite, hosted by Villanova. The Explorers will compete in three additional tournaments early in the season, including two more in-state events.
The Blue and Gold will battle Saint Francis, Bucknell, and Occidental at the Bucknell Invitational in Lewisburg from Feb. 14-15.
La Salle will also travel to Erie for a four-game set at the Curtis Robinette Memorial Invitational against Gannon, Washington & Jefferson, Wheaton, and host Mercyhurst.
The Explorers will venture out to Orange, California, to wrap up the non-conference slate at the Convergence Tournament from March 6-7, taking on Fresno Pacific, Concordia University Irvine, Cal State Monterey Bay, and Cal State Fullerton.
The eight-game MAAC slate begins on March 11, as the Explorers will host their lone home game against Villanova on Senior Night at 6:30 p.m.
Additional MAAC games include a weekend at Villanova against VMI on March 14 and Wagner, the defending champions, on March 15.
La Salle will travel to Poughkeepsie, New York, to face Mount Saint Mary's (March 21) and LIU (March 22) at Marist University.
MAAC play will end with a three-game set at VMI in Lexington, Virginia, against Marist (March 28), Iona (March 28), and Siena (March 29).
The 2026 MAAC Women's Water Polo Championship takes place in Poughkeepsie from April 11-12.
