PHILADELPHIA, PA – The La Salle men's basketball team (7-18, 3-9 A-10) travels to Duquesne (15-10, 7-5 A-10) to continue Atlantic 10 play on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse in Pittsburgh, Pa.
What's Up, Dock?
During A-10 play, redshirt sophomore guard Rob Dockery is averaging 13.3 points, a team-best 7.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and a team-best 1.6 steals per game while shooting 50.9% from the field.
Against VCU, Dockery had 17 points and eight rebounds. In his last four games, he is averaging 16.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.3 steals per game.
Dockery ranks ninth in the A-10 with 37 steals during the 2025-26 campaign.
Marshall Leads The Way
Graduate student guard Jaeden Marshall leads the team with 12.4 points per game and 46 3-point field goals. Marshall is shooting 73-for-83 (88%) from the free-throw line this season, the third-best free-throw percentage in the A-10 while ranking 44th in the nation.
He enters the game against Duquesne with 989 career points. Marshall has tallied more than 20 points in four different games this season.
The Rookie
Freshman guard Ashton Walker leads all A-10 freshmen in assists (82), assist-to-turnover ratio (1.9), and assists per game (3.3). He also ranks in the league's top 10 in all three categories. Along with Dockery, Walker is the only other Explorer to have played in all 25 games this season.
Floor General
In A-10 play, sophomore guard Jaden Johnson leads the league with an assist-to-turnover ratio of 3.3. He ranks sixth with 4.3 assists per game in league play.
Kastrat To Coach For Kosovo in FIBA U18 Tournament
La Salle men's basketball assistant coach and general manager Safet Kastrat will be an assistant coach on Kosovo's FIBA U18 team this summer. Kosovo will compete in Division C from July 21-26, 2026, at the U18 EuroBasket Tournament in Shkodra, Albania. The tournament serves as a qualifying event for the FIBA U17 and U19 Basketball World Cup.
Injury Bug
La Salle has had 109 games missed by 10 players this season, which is believed to be the third most in the nation, trailing Boston U and Binghamton.
Starting forward Jerome Brewer Jr. did not play due to injury in the team's last three contests. Brewer Jr. leads the Explorers with 14 points and 31.2 minutes per game during A-10 play while shooting 51.6% from the field.
Starting Shuffle
Through 25 games, the Blue and Gold have rolled out 18 different starting lineups. 13 different players have started in a game this season. Only two players (Dockery and Johnson) have started in all 12 conference games. Walker is the only other player to appear in all 12 league games this season.
The Series
La Salle leads the all-time series 46-37. Duquesne won the lone meeting last season 67-62 in Philadelphia.
Block Party
Junior forward Edwin Daniel ranks eighth in the A-10 with 1.3 blocks per game and is ninth in the A-10 with 32 blocks. Earlier this season, Daniel blocked at least one shot in 12 straight games (Nov. 22, 2025 - Jan. 10, 2026).
Post Presence
Graduate student forward Josiah Harris is averaging 9.9 points and 5.5 rebounds during A-10 play. Harris is sixth in the A-10 with 2.2 offensive rebounds per game and seventh in the league with three double-doubles.
Scouting The Dukes
Duquesne has won four straight games, including three straight by single digits.
The Dukes feature two of the league's top three scorers. Tarence Guilyard is second in the A-10 with 16.6 points per game, while Jimmie Williams ranks third with 16.2 points per game.
The Dukes rank 57th in the nation with 82.4 points per game and 58th in the NCAA with a field goal percentage of 47.4.
Guilyard also ranks first in the league with 124 assists and 5.2 assists per game.
David Dixon is one of the A-10's premier shot blockers, rounding out the league's top five with 36 blocks and 1.4 blocks per game.

The Explorers will return to John E. Glaser Arena to take on Rhode Island on Saturday, Feb. 21, at 2:30 p.m. La Salle defeated Rhode Island 79-72 on the road earlier this season (Jan. 7).
