Women's Basketball Earns WNIT First-Round Bye, To Participate In Postseason Tournament For First Time Since 1992

Fort Collins, CO – On Monday, the official 2026 Women's National Invitation Tournament bracket was released, with the 18-13 La Salle Explorers earning a first-round bye. Their second-round matchup will feature the winner of Binghamton (19-12) and Mercyhurst (15-16), who will play on Thursday, March 19 at 6:00 p.m. The tournament marks the first time since the 1991-92 season that the Explorers will participate in postseason play. The location and date of the second round game are to be announced.
