Washington, DC – On Tuesday, the Atlantic 10 Conference officially announced the 2026-27 women's basketball conference schedule, setting the Explorers for an 18-game league slate.
La Salle will open conference play at home against George Mason on December 2 before traveling to George Washington on December 30. The Explorers will then begin the new year on the road at Fordham on January 2 and Saint Joseph's on January 6 before returning home to host Rhode Island on January 9.
The matchup with Rhode Island will be a rematch of last season's 63-59 La Salle victory over the Rams, with Joan Quinn turning in a career performance with 21 points on 8-of-12 shooting. The Explorers will then travel to Davidson on January 13 before visiting St. Bonaventure on January 16.
La Salle will close out January with road contests at Dayton on January 20 and VCU on January 23 before hosting Loyola Chicago on January 27. Against Dayton last season, Amiya Moses recorded a career-high six blocks, while Kiara Williams recorded her first career 20-point game at Loyola Chicago.
The Explorers will host Duquesne on February 3 before traveling to Saint Louis on February 10 and Loyola Chicago on February 14. La Salle will then close the regular season with home games against Fordham on February 21 and Richmond on February 24 before traveling to Rhode Island on February 27.
La Salle returns eight players from last season's WNIT Super 16 squad, including Quinn, Williams, Moses and Lauren Patnode. Patnode appeared in all 33 games last season and took on an increased offensive role down the stretch, including a 3-for-3 performance from three-point range in the Explorers' WNIT victory over Binghamton.
The 2026-27 Atlantic 10 Women's Basketball Championship is scheduled for March 3-7 at the Henrico Sports & Events Center in Henrico, Virginia.
