Philadelphia, PA – The La Salle men's basketball program announced the signing of guard
Jamison Lynam for the 2026-27 season.
Lynam, a five-foot-10-inch guard from Lorton, Virginia, joins the Blue and Gold after playing two seasons at the NCAA Division III level at Arcadia University in Glenside, just outside of Philadelphia.
Lynam started 51 of his 52 career games at Arcadia and averaged 15.6 points, 2.9 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.4 steals in 31.7 minutes per game.
During the 2025-26 campaign, Lynam was named to the All-MAC Freedom Men's Basketball First Team.
He played in 25 games for the Knights and averaged a career-high 17.7 points per game. Lynam converted on nearly 47% of his field-goal attempts and made 66 3-point field goals, the third most in the MAC Freedom, while shooting over 42% from beyond the arc.
Lynam scored over 20 points in 11 different contests as a sophomore, including a career-high 37 points against Stevens (Jan. 31, 2026), where he shot 14-of-21 from the field and 6-of-10 from downtown.
He also poured in a team-high 16 points at Saint Joseph's on Dec. 28, 2025, shooting 6-of-12 overall and 2-of-3 from 3-point range.
As a freshman, Lynam made 26 starts and was named the MAC Freedom Rookie of the Year after averaging 13.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game.
Lynam has deep ties to the Philadelphia area. His grandfather, Jim, is a Philadelphia Big 5 Hall of Famer who had a legendary coaching and playing career at Saint Joseph's. He was also the head coach of three NBA franchises, including the Philadelphia 76ers from 1988-92.
Lynam is also a cousin of
Mike Doyle, who is currently an assistant coach for the Explorers. His aunt,
Denise "Dei" Lynam, was named the fifth Head Women's Golf Coach at La Salle last week.
