Women's soccer spotlight Two road matches Women's Soccer Thursday at No. 11 Virginia, Sunday at Bucknell Open schedule

What to know

The Explorers will travel to No. 11 Virginia to face the Cavaliers in Charlottesville on Thursday, Aug. 20 at 4 p.m. La Salle is looking for its first win against a Power 4 opponent since 2018. La Salle will also have a road game at Bucknell on Sunday, Aug. 23.

Key feature: Taylor Jourdanais and Sienna Mount scored their first collegiate goals and Ella Cadigan dished out two assists as La Salle women's soccer rallied past American to earn a 2-1, season-opening win at McCarthy Stadium last Thursday night.

Men's soccer spotlight Season opener Men's Soccer Friday night at Lehigh Open schedule

What to know

The Explorers will open the 2026 season at Lehigh at 8 p.m. on Friday. For a full preview of the 2026 men's soccer team, check out goexplorers.com later this week.

Key feature: Last year, La Salle qualified for the Atlantic 10 Tournament after going unbeaten during the final five games of the regular season. The Explorers return three of the top four scorers from last year in sophomore Julius deVries and seniors Kyrese Lynch-Bailey and Alexandru Zama.
