Women's Golf Competes In Their First Tournament Of The Season

Lewisburg, PA – The La Salle women's golf team completed their first tournament at the Bucknell Invitational this weekend.

Only four of La Salle's five golfers competed in the tournament.

Sophomore Jewel Schaefer finished tied for 50th out of 88 golfers, while Junior Bryn Sorge finished tied for 56th. In round 1, Sorge shot 6-over 76, the lowest 18-hole round by an Explorer in the tournament; in round 2, Schaefer shot 7-over 77.

The Explorers will compete in their second match of the season on September 20th at the Match at the Shore in Egg Harbor City, NJ.
