Philadelphia, PA — The La Salle men's soccer team dropped a non-conference match to Drexel 3-1, Tuesday night.

The scoring started in the 11th minute with a goal from Drexel. Senior Lucas Kelley answered back with La Salle's only goal and his first of the season in the 23rd minute, assisted by senior Alexandru Zama. Drexel added another goal in the 63rd minute, and a penalty kick goal in the 83rd minute to finish off the scoring.

Junior Gabe Faust and freshman Sebastian Gubi had two shots each in the contest. Faust also recorded a shot on goal, as well as sophomore Julius de Vries.

Graduate student Maximilian Retzer had four saves in the match.

The Explorers open Atlantic 10 play this Saturday, traveling to George Washington for a 1 p.m. matchup, live-streamed on ESPN+.
