Egg Harbor City, NJ – Women's golf made waves at the Ron Jaworski Golf Tri Match in Egg Harbor City, NJ on Sunday, finishing with a team score of 25-over (313).
Junior Bryn Sorge led the Explorers, shooting a 3-over 75. Sorge opened with an even-par 36 on the front nine before finishing with a 3-over 39 on the back half.
Sophomore Jewel Schaefer followed with a 6-over 78, recording a 39 on each nine. Sarah Doherty finished one stroke behind Schaefer at 7-over 79, including a 2-over 38 on the back nine.
Freshman Dalia Izham rounded out the Explorers' scoring lineup with a 9-over 81. Izham posted a 5-over 41 on the front nine before closing with a 4-over 40 on the back nine.
The Explorers will hit the green again, September 23rd and 24th at the Jefferson Invitational, taking place at the Jeffersonville Golf Club in Norristown, PA.
