Philadelphia, PA – Freshman forward Shiloh Moore earned Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honors after scoring the game-winning goal in the 88th minute as the La Salle women's soccer team defeated Davidson 2-1 in the Atlantic 10 opener last Sunday at McCarthy Stadium.

Moore's game-winning goal was a left-footed blast from inside the 18-yard box into the left side of the net, just past the diving reach of Davidson's goalkeeper Grace Stair. 

It was Moore's second career goal and her second game-winning goal in as many games. She is currently tied with six other players for the most game-winning goals in the A10 this season. 

During the 2026 campaign, Moore leads all La Salle freshmen with 370 minutes played, five points, two goals, and one assist. 

With the victory, the Explorers won their third straight game, improving to 4-3-2 overall and 1-0 in the Atlantic 10. La Salle also earned its first win in an A10 opener since 2018, which was a 1-0 road win at Davidson.

La Salle will travel to Loyola Chicago (4-2-3, 1-0 A10) on Thursday, Sept. 24. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. EST at Loyola Soccer Park.
