Jessika Kagan has been named GoExplorers.com Athlete of the Month for September. The junior registered 10 points on four goals and two assists in seven games last month.
 
The Dix Hills, N.Y. native assisted the game-winning goal in the 58th minute in the win over James Madison, who was No. 1 in the region at the time. Kagan also netted a pair of goals in a win over Temple on September 21. The junior scored the go-ahead goal in the 78th minute, and after the Owls tied it two minute later, netted the game-winner in OT.
