Women's cross country sophomore Morgan Szekely has been named the GoExplorers.com Athlete of the Month for October. Szekely successfuly defneded her Atlantic 10 Cross Country individual championships while becoming the first athlete in Atlantic 10 history to win back-to-back titles their freshman and sophomore years. She became the third womenin school history with two individual titles. 
 
Szekley helped the women’s team finish in third with 111 points at A-10s which earned them third place overall.  She was named the ECAC Runner of the Week following the Championship. The Marion, Texas native als finished in 16^th place out of 206 runners at the Princeton Invitational helping the team to a 9th place finish.
