Acierno garners GoExplorers.com Athlete of the Month accolades after beginning his final spring season with the men's golf team in impressive fashion. The senior won the third individual title of his collegiate career at the Cape Fear Intercollegiate, setting a program record with 18 birdies over the 54-hole event. A week later, Acierno finished in a tie for fifth at the Towson Invitational and has posted 10 top-10 finishes over the course of his career.
