Alfredo Santana had a championship performance on Saturday and won the Atlantic 10 Cross Country Championship.  For his efforts, the junior was awarded GoExplorers.com Student Athete of the Week on Monday.

Santana crossed the finish line first on Saturday with a time of 24:18 and received most outstanding performer.  He also helped La Salle earn their first men's cross country championship since 2007. 

He is the first most outstanding performer since Sean Quigley earned the honor for La Salle back in 2006.
