PHILADELPHIA - Redshirt freshman goalie Lisa Shaffer leads the nation in save percentage in the NCAA field hockey statistics released on Monday. The Hershey, Pa. native has made 138 saves out of 166 chances for a save percentage of .831.

Shaffer is also eighth in saves per game (8.63) and 19th in goals against average (1.73).

In the Atlantic 10, she leads the conference in save percentage and saves per game and is second in GAA.

Redshirt sophomore Haley Jennings is 15th in defensive saves with four. As a team, La Salle is ninth in that category.

La Salle (7-9, 2-2 A-10) hosts Saint Louis on Friday with a chance to earn a berth to the Atlantic 10 Tournament. A win against SLU or Richmond on Sunday would clinch a spot. The Saint Louis game will also be video streamed (weather permitting) beginning at 3 PM.
