BRONX, N.Y. - The women's cross country team concluded the 2011 season with a second place finsih at the IC4A/ECAC Championships held on Saturday afternoon at Van Cortland Park.  The only teams that placed ahead of La Salle in the team standings was Iona

Individually, Meghan McGlinchey (2nd), Caitlin Storbeck (3rd) and Stephanie Bearish (12th) were the top finishers for La Salle as they both earned All-East Region honors for their performances.

"Both teams did a tremendous job this fal," said head coach Dan Ireland.  "I was honored to be a part of what they accomplished and we are off to a great start."

Ireland will now guide a large majority of the cross country athletes into the indoor track season which will begin on December 2nd with the Villanova Invitiational in Haverford.
