Bethlehem, PA – The La Salle cross country teams raced in the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional meet at Lehigh University Friday afternoon. Overall, the teams each finished in 11th place, as the men scored 332 and the women scored a total of 349 points.

Senior Charlie Hazlett placed 47th overall in the 10k race, with a time of 31:05.3. Following Hazlett was freshman Jacob Gardner, who placed 59th with a finish time of 31:16.4. Senior Chanel Muir and junior Malthe Bogebjerg finished in quick succession, getting times of 31:28 and 31:30.3 to place 73rd and 75th, respectively. Sophomore Dylan Stoneman finished 10 seconds after Bogebjerg to round out the scoring for the Explorers.

For the women, junior Gwenno Goode started the scoring, placing 17th in the 6k race with a time of 20:01.4. Senior Neve Moulai was next, with her time of 21:27.8 good for 66th place. Junior Stella Hammond was the third La Salle finisher, placing 83rd with a time of 21:46.6, followed by sophomore Gillian Lovett with a time of 21:52.1 to place 89th. The fifth and final scorer for the ladies was senior Lexy Rivard, who placed 110nd overall with a time of 22:13.6.

If anyone qualifies, the next race will be the NCAA National Championship meet on Saturday, November 22, with the meet set to start at 10:00 am.
