Gwenno Goode qualified for the NCAA Championship meet and received All-Region honors following the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional meet, which was announced Saturday evening by the NCAA.
The junior ran the 6k event in a time of 20:01.4, getting 17th place in the race. Her time sealed her the last individual qualifying spot, which are given to the top four runners that are not a a part of one of the qualified teams in the championship race.
Goode will next compete in the NCAA National Championship meet on Saturday, Nov. 22, which starts at 10:20 a.m. The meet will be televised on ESPNU.
