PHILADELPHIA - Former La Salle baseball player T.J. Chism (2007-09) is starting to make a splash in his third season with the New York Mets organization.

The southpaw reliever made his first appearance in the New York Penn League All-Star Game on August 16 and pitched 2/3 scoreless innings of relief.  

This season, Chism is 3-0 with a miniscule 1.12 ERA in 21 appearances out of the bullpen for the Brooklyn Cyclones.  He has also earned the first three saves of his professional career.
