Men's Results 

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Junior Michael Bowdin had the top finish for La Salle as the men's cross country team opened the 2011 season at the Lehigh Invitational on Friday evening.

Bowdin finished sixth overall in the men's heat with a time of 18:55.90. As a team, the men finished second overall with a average mark of 19:20.96.

“Today's meet was all about competing,” said head coach Dan Ireland. “I think we did a good job at that and we posted some pretty good times as well. This is only the beginning for us.”

The Explorers will have over two weeks of rest before returning to action on Saturday, September 17 at the Navy Invitational in Annapolis, Md.
