Jacob Gardner Named Atlantic 10 Rookie Of The Week

WASHINGTON, D.C. – La Salle men's cross country runner Jacob Gardner has been named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.

The freshman's time of 24:20.7 in the 8k run at the Paul Short Run last Friday got him 12th overall in the Open Race. He was the fastest finisher for the Explorers in the meet.

The men's cross country team will next compete in the Princeton Fall Classic on Friday, October 17, which starts at 10:30 am.
