BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The men's cross country team faced a tough challenge early Friday morning as they traveled to Lehigh University for the Paul Short Invitational. The team finished in 14th place out of 45 teams that featured some of the top-ranked squads in the nation.
Junior
Alfredo Santana was the top finisher for La Salle for the second straight race. Santana ran the 8k course in a time of 25:02, finishing in 39th place.
The Explorers second top runner of the day, senior
David Hausherr, came to the finish line only 14 seconds behind Santana, with a time of 25:16.
La Salle has a little over two weeks to prepare for their next test help in Easton, Pa at the Leopard Invitational.
