NORTH BETHESDA, Md.- The La Salle women's indoor track team continued their season with the first meet of the spring semester at the Hoya Spiked Shoe Club Invitational on the campus of Georgetown University. Meghan McGlinchey was the first to cross the finish in an exciting 3000 meter race.

McGlinchey out kicked Georgetown All-American Emily Jones by two-tenths of a second.  She crossed the finish line with a time of 9:50.27.

Freshman Lolita Thomas finished the 500 meter dash in fifth place. Thomas crossed the finish line with a time of 1:18.67.

In team points, the Hoyas beat the Explorers 184-97. The Explorers will have just over a week off before they travel to Wesley Brown Invitational in Annapolis, Md.
