PHILADELPHIA - Meghan McGlinchey has been selected as Atlantic 10 Women's Cross Country Performer of the Week, the conference office announced today.

McGlinchey placed first at the Mason Invitational on Saturday, running the 5870 meters in 20:44.8, setting a meet record. She crossed the finish line 1:38 before the second-place runner, leading the Explorer women to a team meet victory.

The West Deptford, N.J. native has won every meet she has competed in this year. In La Salle's season opener, McGlinchey paced the field in a dual meet vs. Penn. Two weeks later, McGlinchey took the top prize in the Main Line Invitational.

McGlinchey's biggest challenges still remain, as meets with bigger and better fields remain on the horizon.

Her team will run again Friday, October 12 when La Salle travels to Madison, Wisc. for the Adidas Wisconsin Invitational.
