PHILADELPHIA - Meghan McGlinchey has been recognized as GoExplorers.com Student-Athlete of the Month for September.

McGlinchey has finished first in all three races she has participated in this season. In La Salle's season opener, McGlinchey paced the field in the dual meet vs. Penn (9/7). Two weeks later, McGlinchey took the top prize at the Main Line Invitational (9/20), running a three-mile time of 16:16.30 and crossed the finish line nearly 10 seconds ahead of the second-place runner. This past weekend (9/29), McGlinchey won the Mason Invitational by an astounding 1:38, leading the Explorers to a meet victory. Her exceptional performance was recognized by the Atlantic 10, as she was named the conference's women's cross country performer of the week for October 2.

This is the fourth time McGlinchey has been named GoExplorers.com Student-Athlete of the Month, as she was previously honored in January, March, and April of this year.
