IC4A Championship Information

PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle men's cross country team will run its final race of the year on Saturday at the IC4A Championships in Bronx, N.Y. where they finished third a year ago.

Alfredo Santana will look to capture the first place crown at the event after placing third last season, earning an All-East Region nod. The senior crossed the finish line second at the Atlantic 10 Championships (25:21.9, 8K) on October 27 and was the top La Salle finisher (24^th) at the Mid-Atlantic Regionals last weekend with a time of 31:04 (10K).

“Santana is the only guy that ran regionals that will be racing at IC4A's,” head coach Dan Ireland said. “We are hoping that Alfredo can win and the team can finish in the top eight.”

As a team, the Explorers will look to conclude another successful season on a high note, after finishing third at the A-10 Championships and placing in the top half of the field at the Mid-Atlantic Regionals.

“The guys that are racing are very excited to race and looking for a great race to end this year's cross country season,” Ireland said.
