PHILADELPHIA – Wendy Hutchinson has been named to the Atlantic 10 Women's Cross Country Academic All-Conference team, the conference office announced today.

The fifth-year senior placed 12^th at the 2012 A-10 cross country championships, finishing the 5K race in 18:18.6 (5K). Hutchinson was the third Explorer to cross the finish line, aiding La Salle's second-place finish at the event. With her top-15 finish, Hutchinson was named an all-conference selection.
 
The Dover, Pa. native graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics and international studies, carrying a 3.80 GPA as an undergraduate. Hutchinson is currently pursuing an MBA in management/finance and has posted a 4.0 GPA throughout her tenure as a graduate student.
 
Hutchinson was a 2011 academic all-conference honoree in addition to being named an All-A10 performer after finishing 12^th at the 2011 conference championships. She was a key member of La Salle's first place team championship finish a year ago.
