PHILADELPHIA - Brittany Wilson has been named La Salle's 'Student-Athlete of the Month' for the month of November. The sharpshooter averaged a team- and Atlantic 10-best 21.3 points per game through seven games, and was the only A-10 player to average at least 20 points. She hit the 20-point mark in six of the seven contests in November, matching her total 20+ point games from last season.

Wilson, an Atlantic 10 Preseason All-Defensive pick, also averaged a team-best 8.0 rebounds per game. She pulled down 15 at Georgetown, her highest as an Explorer. She also recorded three double-doubles, the first of which (at Lehigh) led to an Explorer win. Wilson nailed the game-winning three-pointer with seven seconds on the clock to lift the squad to a 49-48 win over the Mountain Hawks. She also recorded double-doubles at Georgetown and at Penn.

Wilson finished the month of November ranked in the top 10 in seven categories in the Atlantic 10.

Wilson and the rest of the Explorers return to action on Sunday, Dec. 16, when they host Florida at 1 p.m.
