PHILADELPHIA – The women's lacrosse team will look to notch its first win of the season when it travels to play Iona on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

Six different Explorers added goals in the squad's season opener at McCarthy Stadium against Oregon on Sunday, but La Salle fell 10-6.

Senior Megan Corliss made 12 saves in goal.

After facing Iona, the Explorers will return home to play Howard on Tuesday at McCarthy Stadium.

Scouting The Opponent: Iona (1-1)

The Gales sit at 1-1 on the season and most recently pulled out an 11-10 5 OT win against Sacred Heart on Wednesday.

Casey Scully added three goals for the Gales in that contest, including the game winner.

Iona was picked fifth in the MACC pre-season poll.
