PHILADLEPHIA – The women's lacrosse team will cap its 2012 regular season with a game on the road against Massachusetts on Friday followed by a contest versus Saint Joseph's at McCarthy Stadium on Sunday.
Sunday will also mark senior day for the Exporers' eight upcoming graduates:
Rachel Baker,
Lauren Bushby,
Sara Ciaverelli,
Megan Corliss,
Melissa DiTomo,
Allison Herman,
Nora McGurkin and
Taylor Ruland.
La Salle (9-5, 2-3) got off to a 2-0 start to the Atlantic 10 season, but dropped its last three games. The Explorers would need to win out this weekend and get some help from other teams to earn an A-10 championship bid.
A win by the Explorers this weekend could break the all-time program record for wins in a season, which stands at nine.
In the case of inclement weather on Sunday, the video stream will be cancelled.

Massachusetts is undefeated in league play and has an A-10 bid already secured. Winning against La Salle will lock down the No. 1 seed and the A-10 regular season title.

th in Division I in goals against average (8.64).
Scouting the Hawks (5-9, 1-4)
Saint Joseph's has only notched one conference win this season, a 17-11 victory over St. Bonaventure.

Grace Dinn averages a hat trick a game, good for fifth in scoring in the A-10. In goal, Alisha Aquilino has a 10.55 goals against average.
