Philadelphia, Pa.- The Explorers spent Friday competing in the Sam Howell Princeton Invitational. Several top 15 finishes in the races held Friday evening led the Explorers.

Meghan McGlinchey also competed at the Stanford Invitational, running a 10K in well within ECAC qualifying time and capturing second place in the race. She ran a 33:46.04, less than two seconds off the winning time of 33:44.87.
 
Samantha Gallagher had a 12^th place in the 3000 meter steeplechase race. Gallagher finished with a time of 11:17.83.
 
Caitlin Storbeck ran the 1500 meter race in a time of 4:31.90. She crossed the finish line in 15^th place. Wendy Hutchinson crossed the finish line of the 1500 meter race in 21^st place with time of 4:37.31.
 
On Saturday, the Explorers competed at the University of Pennsylvania Invitational held at Franklin Field. Explorers received strong performances from Christa Strycharz, Caitlin Storbeck and Elizabeth Walker.
 
The freshman, Strycharz, crossed the finished of the 3000 meter race in first place. She came across the line with a time of 10:37.14. She was followed by a second place finish from Alyssa Mullen. Mullen crossed the finish line with a time of 10:40.50.
 
Storbeck finished in second place in the 800 meter race. She crossed the line with a time of 2:14.29. Wendy Hutchinson crossed the line with a time of 2:16.52 in a third place finish. Cayleigh Solano, 5^th place, crossed the line with a time of 2:19.34. Taylor Hackett, 7^th place, crossed the line with a time of 2:20.30.
 
In the 1500 meter race, Elizabeth Walker crossed the finish line in second place.  She crossed the line with a time of 4:34.94.
 
The Explorers will have a week off before the George Mason Invitational and the Rider Invitational.
