Santana Named Atlantic 10 Performer of the Week

PHILADELPHIA - Alfredo Sanatana has been named Atlantic 10 Men's Cross Country Performer of the Week, the conference office announced today.

Santana won Friday's dual meet vs. Penn with a time of 19:14 for the 6K.

"I was pretty happy with my performance," Santana said. "The times at a meet like this are pretty disorientated so you cannot get caught up in how fast you ran. Instead, you need to look at if what you did produced the best outcome for the team in the big picture of the race."

The defending A-10 champion led the Explorers to a victory in the meet, their season opener.
