PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle men's cross country team placed second in the Temple Invitational on Friday afternoon, in a meet featuring city-rivals St. Joseph's, Temple, as well as Harcum.

Michael Bowden paced the Explorers, crossing the finish line at 27:54.90, good for third in the field. Teammates Evan Laratta (28:06.98), Achraf Khattabi (28.07:15), and David Ozarowski (28:36.73) finished 5-7, respectively.

The Explorers run again Thursday, September 20th at the Main Line Invitational.
