PHILADELPHIA - Alfredo Santana has been named Atlantic 10 Men's Cross Country Performer of the Week, the conference office announced today.
Santana finished fourth at the Main Line Invitational on Thursday, running a 19:17.90 in the four-mile race. The senior captain paced the Explorers to a second place finish at the event, finishing only behind Villanova who is currently ranked 22nd nationally.
This is the second time in the young season that Santana has been recognized as the conference's performer of the week. He was given the nod on September 11 after winning La Salle's opening meet of the year vs. Penn.
