NEWARK, Del. - Five Explorer women crossed the finish line in the top-11 of the 800m while six clocked top-20 finishes in the 3000m on Saturday afternoon at the Delaware Invitational.

Cayleigh Solano finished second in the 800m run with a 2:21.73 while Tori Pisco (2:23.29) and Elizabeth Walker (2:23.80) finished third and fourth, respectively. Kate Conville (6th, 2:24.95) and Britteni Simpson (11th, 2:28.59) rounded out top-11 finishers for the Explorers.

The Blue and Gold women also performed well in the 3000m, led by a 10:32.39 from Taylor Hackett and a 10:41.65 (PR) from Rebecca Scardelletti. They finished fifth and sixth, respectively. Alyssa Mullen (8th, 10:44.43) and Carolan DiFiore (11th, 10:52.07 (PR)) followed suit for La Salle.

The La Salle "A" 4x400 meter relay (Pisco, Solano, Conville, Harris) crossed the finish line sixth of 24 with a 4:11.41.
