Sophomore Arielle Ward is the ninth in a "Countdown To Tipoff" series presented by the La Salle Women's Basketball program. The series will feature a fun "getting to know" Q&A with each player to acquaint fans with this year's squad. The team is excited to kick off its season on Nov. 8th when the Explorers host crosstown rival Temple at 7 p.m.

If I don't have work to do, I'm probably looking for a snack and relaxing.

I watched Titanic last week and got just a little teary eyed.

I was walking to my bus stop for school and slipped on ice on the sidewalk where all of my friends were waiting.

The best gift I had ever received was a new pair of Jordan's that I didn't think I was going to be able to get.

What do you miss most about being a kid?
Having a somewhat stress free environment and being able to enjoy simple moments with family.

My dad came home with a puppy and I was so excited because I loved animals.

There isn't one specific story, but if they were to tell you a story about me, it would be something silly that I was doing.
