PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle field hockey team has been named a recipient of the 2012 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division I National Academic Team Award, the organization announced this week. The recognition is given to teams that post a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.

In addition, nine Explorers were named to the National Academic Squad. The recipients include Becca Chylak, Jessica Deaner, Colleen Kempf, Jenica Miller, Janel Paukovits, Maddy Tettelbach, Emily Vasey, Lauren Wright, and Taylor Yoder.
