Pacific, in the midst of a four-day, four-game road trip to Philadelphia, scored in the fourth minute when Leah Cofer scored off a pass from Emily Tregoning. The Explorers had five penalty corners in the first half but were unable to convert and trailed 1-0 at intermission.
La Salle controlled much of the action in the second stanza and held an 8-3 advantage in corners and a 14-6 lead in shots. But it wasn't until Shoemaker rifled a shot off a corner with 13 minutes remaining that the Blue and Gold got on the scoreboard. Junior

Maultsby helped the Tigers avoid overtime for the second straight game when she took a waist-high pass from Katelyn Tatar and sent a laser into the back of the net.
La Salle held a 13-3 lead in corners and a 16-11 advantage in shots for the contest. Pacific's Molly Macierz stopped seven shots for the win.Â
