Terre Haute, Ind. – The La Salle men's cross country team placed two runners in the top 200 at the ISU Pre-Nationals Saturday at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course. Nico Greco and Bradley Heuer were the first two Explorers to cross the line as the team went on to finish in 43rd place.

Senior Nico Greco led the way on the day for the Blue and Gold, crossing in 25:32.1 (8k) which was good for 113th place overall (out of 310). Sophomore Bradley Heuer also turned in a top 200 performance in a strong field, crossing the finish line in 26:06.5, in 194th place.

Senior Ben Pershall was the next Explorer to finish, as he ran a 26:36.6 which earned him a 254th place finish overall. Sophomores Chris Berry and Fran Ferruzzi crossed the finish line almost in tandem. Berry ran a 26:56.2 and Ferruzzi ran a 26:57.8 which placed them in 279th and 281st respectively.
Junior David Ozarowski rounded out the scoring for the Explorers as he crossed with a time of 27:17.0, which placed him in 289th overall.

La Salle has a week off before they head to the Atlantic 10 Championships in Pittsburgh where the team will be looking to defend their team title from last season as will Nico Greco who was the individual champion.Â
