Terre Haute, Ind. – Freshman Morgan Szekely turned in a strong performance as she finished the ISU Pre-Nationals on Saturday in 57^th place in a national field of nearly 300 runners. Szekely time of 21:41.1 helped lead the team to a 40^th overall team finish.
 
Senior Molly Mickle had a strong outing, as she was the second Explorer to cross the finish line. Mickle, crossed in 22:37.3 which earned her a 184^th place finish. Freshman Megan Connell crossed on the heels of her teammate, as she finished in 185^th overall, with a time of 22:37.9. Her classmate, Emily Ward was the next La Salle runner to finish as she crossed in 259^th place with a time of 23:23.8.
 
Junior Rebecca Scardelletti and senior Taylor Hackett were the next two Explorers to finish, as they crossed nearly in tandem. Scardelletti crossed in 23:55.7 and Hackett had a time of 23:57.8 which was good for 277^th and 279^th respectively. Junior Kaylie McNally finished out the field for La Salle. McNally had a time of 24:32.5 which placed her in 289^th overall.
 
La Salle has a week off before they return to Pittsburgh for the Atlantic 10 Championships.
