Bethlehem, Pa. – The La Salle men's cross country team finished in a tie for 21
st overall place at the 2014 Paul Short Run, out of 42 overall teams in the event. Senior
Ben Pershall paced the Explorers with a time of 25:14 which was good for a 97
th place overall finish and freshman
Chris Berry was close behind, finishing in 25:17 which was good for 100
th place overall.
Sophomores
Bradley Heuer and Fran Ferruzzi were the next to cross the line for La Salle. The sophomores finished in 25:26 (117
th place) and 25:29 (128
th place) respectively. Junior
Brendan Robertson crossed in 157
th place with a time of 25:41.
Rounding out the scoring for the Explorers were senior
Nico Greco and
David Ozarowski who finished in 170
th (25:43) and 195
th place (25:55) overall.
Juniors Tim Flanagan 26:06 (244
th place),
Rodrigo Nunez 26:36 (302
nd place), and sophomore
John Pujols 26:59 (326
th place) all also finished out of the scoring for the Explorers.
La Salle will close out their regular season schedule in two weeks when they travel to the ISU Pre-National Invitational in Terre Haute, Ind. The race is being run on the same course as this year's NCAA Championship.
