View USTFCCCA Release

NEW ORLEANS – The La Salle men's cross country has been named USTFCCCA All-Academic, the organization announced last week. The Explorer men registered a 3.02 team GPA to earn the recognition.  

Eight members of the team were on the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll this fall. 

The distinction marks the fourth consecutive year that the team has been recognized by the USTFCCCA.

Nine Atlantic 10 programs made the list, tied with the SEC and ACC for the most representatives from a conference.

The Scholar Teams of the Year were among 217 women's teams and 160 men's teams that earned All-Academic Team honors for the 2013 season. Programs must have compiled a cumulative GPA or 3.00 or greater to qualify for the award.
 
In total 231 unique programs were recognized, including 146 programs that had both their women's and men's teams earn the honor.
