All-Time Series
Dayton owns a slim 16-15 advantage in the series that dates back to 1993, though the Flyers have taken the last eight.

Scouting the Explorers
The Explorers look to bounce back from back-to-back losses at Saint Joseph's and Fordham. The squad led the majority of the game against the Rams, but the home squad mounted an 11-4 run in the final minutes including the go-ahead free throws with 12 seconds remaining in the 43-42 heartbreaker loss. Alicia Cropper led the squad with 15 points, while Siobhan Beslow recorded her first career double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Micahya Owens also added 10 points for the Explorers.

Cropper is up to eighth in the Atlantic 10 in scoring in conference games, draining 15.8 ppg against league foes this season. She is also 12th in the A-10 in scoring overall, averaging a team-best 14.0 ppg on the season. Cropper continues to rank in the A-10's top 15 in a number of categories both overall and in A-10 play. Against A-10 opponents, she dishes out 3.1 assists (15th), pulls down 4.8 defensive rebounds (T-15th) and makes 1.8 three-pointers per game (10th).

Owens continues to average double digits in her rookie campaign, scoring 13.2 ppg on the season, while adding 4.8 rebounds. She is shooting a team-best 79.6 percent at the free throw line to rank 14th in the A-10.

Leeza Burdgess rounds out the top three scorers with 9.0 ppg and a team-best 7.3 rebounds. She ranks 12th in the A-10 in rebounding, and third in the league with 3.4 offensive rebounds per game. She also cracked the top 15 in blocked shots, rejecting 0.8 per game overall and 1.2 against league foes.

Jasmine Alston continues to lead the Atlantic 10 in steals per game against league opponents, snagging 2.0 per game. She is also dishing out 3.8 assists per game in A-10 play, tying her for seventh on the list.

Beslow has started every game this season and continues to anchor the La Salle defensive effort. She is up to 6.0 rebounds per game, and ranks 11th in the league with 2.5 offensive boards per game against A-10 teams.

The Explorers have continued to struggle offensively, scoring just 55.6 ppg to rank 12th as a team. However, the defense has been stifling. The Explorers give up just 54.8 ppg in A-10 play to rank first. They are also the only squad in the league to hold A-10 opponents below 60 ppg.

By holding Fordham without a three-pointer in 13 tries, the Explorers are now limiting A-10 opponents to a season-best 19.2 percent from long range.

The Explorers are grabbing 42.5 rebounds per game in A-10 play to rank second in the league, and hold opponents to 38.1 rpg.

Scouting the Flyers
Dayton enters Wednesday's game ranked No. 22 in the latest USA Today Coaches' Poll, moving up three spots from last week. The Flyers have won six straight, the latest a 90-74 win at Saint Louis behind 29 points from Andrea Hoover and 23 from Ally Malott.

Dayton boasts the league's best scoring offense, draining 80.5 points against league foes including a +11.9 scoring margin. The Flyers yield 68.6 ppg to opponents.

Hoover and Malott provide a one-two punch for the Flyers. Hoover leads the team in scoring with 16.3 ppg in conference play to rank sixth and is averaging 16.9 ppg overall on the season. She chips in 5.4 rebounds while dishing out 3.4 assists per game.

Malott ranks fifth in the A-10 with 8.1 rebounds per game against A-10 foes. She is also a scoring threat, averaging 14.6 ppg on the season.

Three more players average in double figures for the Flyers, including Amber Deane (14.3 ppg), Cassie Sant (12.2 ppg) and Kelley Austria (11.4 ppg). Sant also pulls down 6.4 boards per game, and Austria leads the team with 3.6 assists.

The Flyers are also dangerous on the boards, pulling down 44.4 rpg as a team while limiting opponents to 38.5 rpg.
