ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Meghan McGlinchey will compete in the 5000 meter run on Friday at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. The 5k is slated to begin at 10:25 p.m. Eastern Time (8:25 MT).
ESPN3 will stream the meet live on March 14 starting at 7:55 p.m. A tape delay of the championship will air Saturday, March 22 starting at 6:30 p.m. Eastern on ESPNU. Live results will be made available on

The West Deptford, N.J. native ranks fifth in the nation in the 5k after running a school-record 15:46.50 on December 7 at the Jack Pyrah Invitational. She set A-10 Indoor Championship records in the 5k (16:27.58) and 3k (9:28.43) February 22-23 and was named Most Outstanding Female Track Performer.
McGlinchey is one of only three female A-10 athletes to qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships. George Mason's Mandissa Marshall (pole vault) and VCU's Kiara Porter (400m) are the others.
McGlinchey, who competed in the 2012 NCAA Cross Country Championships, is the first Explorer woman to receive an NCAA invitation in cross country and indoor. She is La Salle's first NCAA indoor qualifier since TerriAnn Razzi in 2000 (1500m).
