The senior appeared in three games during the week, picking up two wins and a save in the span. He shares the A-10 distinction with Lou Distasio of Rhode Island and the Big 5 award with Penn's Connor Cuff.
O'Neill pitched a scoreless ninth on Tuesday vs. Lehigh, earning the victory as the Explorers scored four runs in the bottom of the ninth to win, 6-5. Three days later, the Philadelphia native snagged his third save of the season by retiring the side in the ninth against Richmond in a 4-3 win.
The senior made the start on the hill on Sunday against the Spiders, tossing seven innings of two-run ball while scattering five hits. He struck out two and walked two in seven innings against his former team to earn his third win of the year.
The southpaw has been sharp of late, posting a 2.25 ERA with 11 strikeouts over his last five outings. He has been credited with three wins and two saves in those appearances.
