Schedule of EventsPHILADELPHIA – The La Salle women's track and field team is set to compete in this weekend's Atlantic 10 Championships, hosted by the University of Massachusetts. The Explorers enter the weekend coming off a strong showing at the Penn Relays, highlighted by a PR by senior

McGlinchey will double in the 5k and 10k, looking to sweep both events as she did in 2012. The West Deptford, N.J. native maintains the A-10 Championship record in the 10k after clocking a 34:57.58 in 2012. She enters the weekend with the top times in the conference in the 5k (16:07.32) and 10k (33:15.95) this season.
A pair of Explorers –
Tori Pisco and
Cayleigh Solano, will try their luck in the 800 meter run. Pisco ran a PR in the event on April 16 by posting a 2:11.66 at the Larry Ellis Invitational. That time is good for fifth in the A-10 coming into the weekend. Solano registered her top time of the season at the Colonial Relays (2:12.08, 4/3) and is coming off a bronze medal showing at the indoor conference championships in February (2:15.38).
Taylor Hackett has enjoyed a successful spring campaign and comes in with the 12
th-best 1500 meter time in the conference this spring (4:36.60). She set the mark on April 3 at the Colonial Relays.
Michelle Capozzi and
Anne Areias, La Salle's two top finishers at the 2013 cross country championships, will each compete in distance events. Capozzi will run the 5k, coming off a PR (17:11.10) at the Larry Ellis Invitational on April 16. Her mark is good for 10th in the conference. Areias will trot in the 10k and comes in with a PR of 37:17.47.
Head coach Dan Ireland anticipates a top-eight finish from his women's squad, which would match its performance from the A-10 Indoor Championships in February.
