PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle men's soccer team is poised for their 2014 home opener on Saturday afternoon as they host the Temple Owls at McCarthy Stadium at 1 p.m.

Scouting the OwlsThe Owls are 1-3 to begin the season and coming off losses on the road to No.16 Penn State and Duke. Forward Olli Tynkkynen leads the team with five points, and earned the first American Athletic Conference Freshman of the Week of the season after he scored his first two collegiate goals in the team's 3-0 win against Sacramento State.
The Owls triumphed 3-0 in the last contest between the two teams on October 28, 2012, when Temple was a member of the Atlantic 10.
