Marykate Bateman. The goal was Haycook's third on the season, and the senior leads the Explorers with nine points.
Princeton's Lauren Lazo quickly responded with a header in the 79
th minute to tie the game at 2-2 before two scoreless overtime periods resulted in a draw.
Princeton (0-1-2) took a 1-0 lead on a penalty kick in the 45
th minute before freshman
Kristin Haugstad punched in the rebound of a
Jessika Kagan shot in the 65
th minute to tie the game at 1-1. Kagan's shot from the far side deflected off the keeper towards Haugstad, who pushed it inside the far post for her second goal of the season.
The Explorers tallied 19 shots in the game compared to only nine by the Tigers.
The Explorers are back in action on Sunday as they host the James Madison Dukes (4-1) at McCarthy Stadium at 1 p.m.
