PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle women's soccer team is prepping for a huge weekend as they visit nationally ranked West Virginia in Morgantown on Friday before hosting 7-0 Temple at McCarthy Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Scouting the ExplorersLa Salle is unbeaten in their last four games and has worked their way into the No. 2 slot in the NSCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Poll. The Explorers are looking to keep rolling after knocking off James Madison, who spent the week atop the NSCAA Mid-Atlantic Poll, 2-1 on Sunday at McCarthy Stadium.
Kelsey Haycook netted Atlantic 10 Player of the Week recognition last week after scoring in the draw with Princeton and the win over JMU.
Danielle Marx netted the game-winner against the Dukes on Sunday after scoring the deciding goal last Sunday in the 1-0 win over Pittsburgh.

They're currently ranked No. 4 in the NSCAA Central Regional Poll.
Sophomore defender Kadeisha Buchanan is coming of a WVU Athlete of the Week selection after scoring the game-tying goal in the draw with Georgetown and helping to limit last week's opponents to seven combined shots on goal.
Buchanan and Kate Schwindel both have tallied three goals on the season while Kelsie Maloney has two goals and three assists.

The Owls are coming off wins over St. Bonaventure and Cornell last week, and will visit the University of Delaware before making their trip to McCarthy on Sunday.
Temple's Shauni Kerkhoff and Kelly Farrell were named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll and earned spots on the Big Red Shootout All-Tournament team for their performances this past weekend. Kerkhoff recorded her fourth shutout of the season against St. Bonaventure while Farrell scored both goals in the win over Cornell and leads the team in points (9), shots (18), and is tied for the lead in goals (4).
La Salle leads the all-time series with Temple 10-8-2, with the last meeting resulting in a draw at Temple in 2012.
